Vistula Lagoon - Rivers

The Vistula Lagoon (also known as Frisches Lagoon, Vistula Bay or Vistula Gulf) is a fresh water lagoon on the Baltic Sea near to Gdansk and separated from Gdansk Bay by the Vistula Spit. The lagoon is the mouth of a few branches of the Vistula River, notably the Nogat, and the Pregolya River and is connected to Gdansk Bay by the Strait of Baltiysk. The major seaports on the lagoon are Kaliningrad and Baltiysk. The Polish towns on its shores are Elblag, Tolkmicko, Frombork and Krynica Morska in Poland.
