Thunder Bay - Canada, Ontario

Thunder Bay on Lake Superior is home to the city of Thunder Bay in south-western Ontario. The city itself is an amalgamation of the cities of Fort William and Port Arthur and the townships of Neebing and McIntyre. Situated in an agricultural, logging, mining, and fishing region, it is a major grain port where the wheat from Canada's prairies province is transferred from train to ship as well as being a commercial and manufacturing centre. Sights in and around the city include Old Fort William, a re-creation of the British fur trading fortress as it was in 1816, Silver Isle, the Terry Fox Monument and several Recreational Parks including the unusual rock formations in Ouimet Canyon.
