Kratie - Cambodia

Kratie is a small, friendly town on the Mekong River dominated by a central marketplace surrounded by a mixture of charming three-story French colonial and traditional old Khmer buildings. There is not a lot to do here but there are three attractions along the road leading north from town. At Phnom Sombok is the relatively new Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey situated upon the only hill around. At Kampi you will find the famous Irrawaddy dolphins and at Sambor there is a pre-Angkorian settlement and a wat, but little trace of the ancient town. There are more than 30 cruises calling at this port. Click the month or cruise line logo you are interested in to see details of the cruises.
