Point Adolphus lies on the coast of southeastern Alaska, about 100 miles (160 km) northwest of Juneau, near the entrance to Glacier Bay National Park. It is noted for some spectacular whale watching. Humpbacks spend the entire summer feeding at Point Adolphus, and one of the largest concentrations of humpback whales in southeast Alaska is found here.
