Tobermory (Sc) - UK, Scotland

Tobermory is the largest town and capital of the Isle of Mull. Tobermory has a population of under 1,000 and is most famous for the shipwreck of the Florencia, part of the Spanish Armada, which sank in the bay waters in 1588. All around this area are many historic castles, including the 13th-century Duart Castle, the home of the clan chief of the MacLeans, 14th-century Aros Castle of the Lords of the Isles, and 15th-century Moy Castle of the MacLeans of Lochbuie. More recently built are Torosay and Glengorm.
