Phang Nga - Thailand

The sheer-sided sea mountains that rise vertically out of Phang Nga Bay like island fortresses form some of Thailand's most spectacular scenery. Some of these 40 odd limestone karst formations are several hundred feet high and contain lagoons and caves with stalgmites and stalactites. The islands in this region including Ko Hong, Ko Dam Hok and Ko Dam Khwan feature wonderful white sandy beaches and superb coral reefs. Ko Hong (hong meaning 'room'), part of the Ko Hong archipelago, is so named because of it's large internal lagoon. One of the prettiest bays in the area, huge monolithic rocks provide shade all day long on a beautiful white silica sand beach. The following 30 cruises call at Phang Nga.
