Zierikzee - Netherlands

Zierikzee is a medieval little town on the joined former islands of Schouwen-Duiveland on the Eastern Scheldt shore, 40 miles southwest of Rotterdam. One of the best preserved towns in Holland, it has middle age town walls and narrow cobbled streets. The Stadhuismuseum has some interesting archaeological finds and one of the main sights is the Sint-Lievens Monstertoren (Great Tower) on the cathedral.
