Isafjordur Peninsula - Iceland

The Isafjordur Peninsula juts out from the north coast of Iceland. On the west side discover the abandoned village of Adalvik in the Hornstrandir Nature Reserve and the village of Hornvik. On the east side you will find Furufjördur, Tharalátursfjördur and Reykjafjördur, from where you will have a good and near view of the northern side of the Drangajökull glacier . Walkers can hike from one fjord to the next on an old trail with cairns. In Furufjördur there are bogs and lakes, and in Reykjafjördur hot pools, in which you can bathe. Harbour Seals and Grey Seals are common in this fjord. The following 3 cruises call at Isafjordur Peninsula.
