Vallabregues - France

Vallabregues is a village in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of southern France. It is located on the left bank of the Rhone River, and is rich in heritage and traditional crafts. It has a small dock for boats travelling on the Rhone River, tennis courts, a swimming pool, and the "Lac de Vallabregues", a small pond surrounded by grass and a trail for walking. The streets of Vallabregues are too narrow for cars and most villagers get around by bicycle. Basket-weaving is traditional and unique to Vallabregues. They hold a festival every year and home-made baskets are displayed in front of houses. There are many shops selling baskets and even a museum commemorating the unique tradition of the village.
