Tannay - France
Surrounded by vineyards, Tannay sits high on a hill overlooking the Canal du Nivernais and Yonne valley in Burgundy. Strolling through the village, you will see the ancient houses with round or square towers attached containing stairwells. The town's school provides access to a wooden walkway that leads to the church and it's bells. Also worth a visit is the House of Chaniones where you will find a throne room with an ornamental fireplace. You will also find access to the cellar, where cannons guard each rack of precious bottles. At La Maison de Vigne you will find the old tools used in wine and cask making.
